Select English design and run courses for groups of students throughout the year.
From school study trips for groups of teenagers to an English for the Military course provided for army officers, Select English has the experience to cater for your group’s needs.
Courses can be arranged with homestay, residential or Cambridge University accommodation.
Within the Cambridge pages you will see a variety of PON Course options, which are there to offer a guide to the type of courses we offer.
Select English are open to flexible year round International Group Courses. We understand that your group may want to see particular features, such as ‘The Harry Potter Studio Tour’ and we can help design a course with your time frame; (a week or perhaps you require 4 weeks) whilst including important English lessons within this.
Below are photos from a recent group booking from 10 Indonesian students and their teacher. They came to Select English for 2 weeks and combined 15 hours a week of English lessons with days out in Cambridge and London.

PON 3 or 4 Week Courses Cambridge
This typical PON group course is for a three or a four week trip and includes 80 hours of tuition, along with a final day devoted to the Trinity Exam.
Classes are normally taught at our main school on Station Road near the centre of the University City of Cambridge. The school is spacious, with a large garden area as well as a common room, and comfortable state of the art classrooms with interactive white boards.
- Objectives/Plan: This packed course can include three full day excursions to London and Norwich, three half day excursions and a range of afternoon activities in Cambridge. On all the excursions and activities, groups are accompanied by a member of the Select English team to help them make the most of their visits. Select English arrange all transfers to and from the airports on arrival and departure, to make sure that the travel days are stress free for everyone.
- Accommodation: We offer a full-board programme, with students having lunch at our school (or on excursions at the weekends) and breakfast and dinner at their accommodation – which could be family homestay, hotel or Cambridge University College residential accommodation.
