MANAGEMENT POSITIONS:
COURSE DIRECTOR
Location: Station Road, Cambridge
Students: Multinational students ages 14 -16
Course Dates: 25 June – 25 August
The Course Director is responsible for supervising a team of teachers and ensuring the smooth day to day running of the course. This is a challenging role and candidates must be extremely organized, responsible and motivated. 4+ years’ teaching experience with teenagers, including previous summer school teaching, is essential. Preference will be given to DELTA qualified candidates with previous management experience.
This is a non-residential position but the school can arrange self-catering accommodation in a shared house for £70 per week. Pay is £475 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%, which is paid at the end of the contract (equivalent to £532 per week gross).
TEACHING POSITIONS:
CHILDREN
Location: Barnardiston Hall, near Haverhill, Suffolk
Students: Multinational ages 8 - 13
Course Dates: 7 July – 4 August
This is a residential position. Pay is £310 per week plus holiday pay at 12.07%, which is paid at the end of the contract (equivalent to £347 per week gross) plus free accommodation and meals. Teaching is 3 hours per day plus active participation in the social activities programme (no residential/bedtime duties).
TEENAGERS
Location: Riddlesworth Hall, near Diss, Norfolk
Students: Multinational from ages 13 – 16
Course Dates: 7 July – 4 August
This is a residential position. Pay is £318 per week plus holiday pay 12.07%, which is paid at the end of the contract (equivalent to £356 per week gross) plus free accommodation and meals. Teaching is 4 hours per day plus active participation in the social activities programme.
Location: Kings Bruton, Somerset
Students: Multinational from ages 13 – 16
Course Dates: 7 July – 4 August
This is a residential position. Pay is £318 per week plus holiday pay 12.07%, which is paid at the end of the contract (equivalent to £356 per week gross) plus free accommodation and meals. Teaching is 4 hours per day plus active participation in the social activities programme.
Location: Select English, Station Rd, Cambridge
Students: Multinational from ages 14 – 16
Course Dates: 30 June – 25 August
Some students on this course stay with local families and some stay in our Halls of Residence near the school. Teachers are not required to be residential for this course but we can arrange self-catering accommodation for teachers who need it. Pay is £390 per week plus holiday pay 12.07%, which is paid at the end of the contract (equivalent to £437 per week gross). Teaching is 4 hours per day plus active participation in the social activities programme.
Location: Tudor Hall, Banbury Oxfordshire
Students: Closed groups from Japanese High school aged 13 – 14.
Dates: 6 July – 1 August
This is a residential position. Pay is £318 per week plus holiday pay 12.07%, which is paid at the end of the contract (equivalent to £356 per week gross) plus free accommodation and meals. Teaching is 3 hours per day plus active participation in the social activities programme.
ADULTS
Location: Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge
Students: Multinational 17+
Course Dates: 7 July – 18 August
This is a residential position. Pay is £310 plus holiday pay (£347 per week gross) plus free accommodation and meals). Teaching is 4 hours per day plus active participation in the social activities programme.
Location: Select English, Cambridge city centre
Students: Multinational 17+
Course Dates: 30 July – 25 August
Students on this course stay with local families. Teachers are not required to be residential for this course but we can arrange self-catering accommodation for teachers who need it. Pay is £345 per week plus holiday pay (£387 per week gross). Teaching is 4 hours per day plus active participation in the social activities programme.
